“We Are Sorry” – Shatta Wale Playfully Teases Nigerian Musicians Over Ghana’s Victory

In what obviously looks like sarcasm served from the coldest part of Shatta Wale’s refrigerator, the SM boss has profusely apologized to mainstream Nigerian artistes after their team crashed out at the hands of Ghana in the World Cup playoffs.

In a video the Ghanaian Dancehall artiste shared on his verified IG platform, he was seen eating a Nigerian meal while making certain gestures designed to rub salts into their injury.

He then mentioned Davido, Burna Boy, and Wizkid’s names and apologized to them saying they hold the keys to the Grammys so regardless of whatever the setback the Black Stars gave them, they should still go ahead and teach them how to win a Grammy too.

You know how Shatta Wale rides on trends to sustain his relevance, don’t you?

Well, recall that Ghana held Nigeria to a 1-1 scoreline in Abuja in front of a mammoth crowd at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Arsenal’s Thomas Partey fired a powerful shot from outside the penalty and surprisingly it sneaked under the hands of Nigeria’s keeper Francis Uzoho and went straight into the net in the 11th minute.

Nigeria responded immediately to the first goal and they got a penalty in the 19th minute after Ademola Lookman was brought down by Dennis Odoi and the resultant penalty was converted by Captain William Troost-Ekong
