A young Ghanaian man probably between the ages of 30 and 35 years old has offered advice to Ghanaians who want to bring their spouses abroad. Speaking in the video, the young man said that a lot of people in Ghana make mistakes when they bring their wives and husbands abroad. A few lessons he has learned over the years from his own experience are what he wants to share so that people do not make the same mistakes.
The first piece of advice is to make sure that you tell your wife or husband about the level or standard of living. Thus let your partner know whether you have documents or not. Change your location to a rural area where few black people are living there. According to him, living in the same area before the arrival of your partner is a very bad idea.
When your partner arrives abroad, don’t tell him or her that you took a loan or borrowed money to finance his or her plane ticket. So you have to get a job for him or her to do. Wait a while, let her feel that she has come abroad. Do not immediately discuss issues about a project you are doing with her, allow her to feel at home first.
Buy her clothes and other material things to make her feel at home. Finally, you need to cut off all your friends and make your partner and children your friends. If you can do these things you will be able to live with your partner abroad without any problem. The young man said that these are the decision he took when he started accounting problems in his marriage abroad.
