When did good deeds ever become punishable? People who take upon themselves to help others willingly out of their own pocket are now subjected to ridicule and made to plead for their benevolence.

We have here in the case of teachers who were criticized for extending their kindness to their pupils. Teachers who have taken upon themselves to help their students in one way or the other have come under the heavy criticism of their higher ups and some of them were asked to apologize to the students.

Recall that MyglobalTrend reported about one Abena Serwaa Mankosa, a Primary 1 teacher of Aninkroma D/A Primary school who uses her own money to feed her students. Well, it seems her good gesture led her to the offices of authorities. In an interview with Angel TV, Abena narrated how manhandled and treated with disdain by the authorities in the office.

On the other hand, a teacher called Kampoe Desmond who used his own salary to buy nose masks and face shields for his pupils was made to apologize for being kind.
