Sarkodie has caught a lot of heat on Twitter after he waded into the ongoing strike by commercial drivers by promoting the “Shaxi” business of his colleague, Shatta Wale.
Sarkodie, who has been a vocal critic of the former government’s persistent terrible governance, has been silent on the NPP government’s policies, which have made it difficult for Ghanaians to deal with daily life.
After being chastised, the rapper has covertly joined the ongoing strike by asking Ghanaians to use the yet-to-be-released app Shaxi.
Sarkodie, in a tweet, advised Ghanaians to swarm to the Google Play and Appstore to download Shatta Wale’s SHAXI’s app, which would premiere on the 8th of December 2021, in order to make his voice known following the sit-down strike by commercial drivers.
Once it launches, the app will allow users to request trips on the spot, similar to other ride-hailing apps like Bolt and Uber.
