Akon has claimed that wealth causes a rich person more trouble than it provides.
The Konvict Music boss shared his perspective on this theme in a radio interview as he bemoaned the difficulties brought on by wealth.
In his opinion, money doesn’t necessarily buy happiness as it primarily relies on what makes a person happy.
The iconic R&B great added that those with money don’t have time since it makes you lose yourself and separates you from your loved ones.
He continued by saying that when money prevents people from finding time for their families, this is hardly a comfort.
Akon said, “Money brings you more problems than it brings comfort. You lose yourself. You can’t find time for your family. That’s no comfort.”
Akon is a Senegalese-American musician, music producer, and businessman. Following the release of “Locked Up,” the lead song from his debut album Trouble, and “Lonely,” the second single, he gained notoriety in 2004.
His real name is Aliaune Damala Badara Akon Thiam. Akon claims that he has six children with three women in an interview with Blender, all of whom he has great relationships with. He says he wishes to keep his family protected from the public eye.
