The term ‘mugu’ came at a time when young and lazy Ghanaians started internet fraud back in the early 2000s.
The term used to refer to the victim at the other end, if the scam goes through successfully has now become a jargon used to describe any man who spends lavishly on a woman who later ends up ditching it for good.
A video is fast going viral on social media and it captures the moment a fully grown man went straight to withdraw his life savings from an ATM while a slay queen with a huge backside standing right beside him.
While he withdraws the money for the lady who seems desperate for the cash, a man in the background rained heavy insults on him for being a ‘mugu’ for the lady.
