A driver and a passenger onboard a truck have escaped death by a whisker after their truck got fire.
The incident happened at Mankessim in the Central Region of Ghana.
The cause of the fire isn’t clear but the driver of the KIA Truck with registration number GX 89 -12 stopped the car and took to his heels.
According to an eyewitness smoke was detected from the Truck’s foams and within a few minutes, fire quickly spread throughout the truck.
The driver and the other person in the car quickly stopped by Obrumankoma Fm and ran for their lives.
Luckily the town folks joined forces to quench the fire before Fire Service personnel arrived.
