A Ghanaian female referee of the Referees Association of Ghana, Faizatu Jakpa has been assaulted by a player during a football match in Kumasi.
According to a report by ghpage.com, the referee was attacked and beaten up by a player of the Fabulous Ladies during a league encounter between Fabulous Ladies and Kumasi Sports Academy in Kumasi.
During the match, a misunderstanding ensued between the said Fabulous Ladies female player and referee Faizatu. As to what the issue was we can’t tell but before the referee could say jack, she received the beatings of her life leaving her with a swollen face.
