Ghana Starts Production of Local Vaccines to fight Covid-19

President Akufo-Addo has formed a committee to study vaccine development in Ghana. The Committee has already started work according to MyglobalTrend.com
The change comes as scientists around the world work feverishly to develop vaccines to meet rising demand, especially in the aftermath of COVID-19.
Minister of Health Kwaku Agyemang Manu announced in Accra at the start of Africa Vaccination Week.
He disclosed that three pharmaceutical companies have started building factories for vaccine manufacturing in Ghana.
If Ghana works to manufacture vaccines, it will be the second in Africa after Nigeria who last month developed two vaccines against COVID-19, yet to be approved.
