Armed Robbers have attacked AshGold team bus on their way from Accra where they played Hearts of Oaks.
The team bus of AshGold was attacked by armed robbers on their way back to Obuasi after their game against Hearts of Oaks.
After their losing 2-1 to Accra Hearts of Oaks on Sunday Night, the AshGold survived gunshot attack from armed robbers at Assin Endwa.
Going back to Obuasi in the night, Armed Robbers attacked the team bus when they reached Assin Endwa in the Central Region.
According to the team’s official Twitter account, the armed robbers fired gunshots at the bulletproof front glass.
Despite the gunshots, the driver didn’t stop but meandered his way away from the armed robbers.
Fortunately no individual sustained any injury as the team made it safely to Obuasi.
